Bruce is the founder and Chief Executive of Crosslight Advice. A former banker, Bruce has worked in London, Munich and Edinburgh, latterly as Head of Financial Institutions for German Bank BayernLB. In 2009 he left the City to establish Crosslight, which has grown from a single employee to a charity operating from 7 branches and 10 locations. Bruce is the author of the Money Course and speaks regularly on debt and money management.

Chair of Trustees
Francis has worked all his career in finance in the City of London, as a fund manager and subsequently in varying roles in investment management. He has since 2007 worked as a client portfolio manager for Columbia Threadneedle Investment, representing their European equity capabilities to clients throughout the world.
Andrew was formerly a Senior Executive Partner at the accountancy firm Mazars Neville Russell (now Mazars) where he chaired the firm’s Charity Services Group as well as their charitable trust. He has held numerous trusteeships including Ryder-Cheshire Foundation, Roedean School, International Health Partner, Brighton International Festival, and Brighton & Hove Philharmonic Society.
Barry has had a long career in social work including positions with Barnados and then Kent Social Services where he held various senior management roles with responsibilities for adoption, fostering and safeguarding. He was Director of Social Care at the charity Oasis Trust, subsequently becoming its Chief Executive. He has also been heavily involved in church leadership over many years with a particular focus on developing community projects.
Martin began his career as a business analyst at Shell but subsequently spent most of his career in finance as a partner of a leading fund management group and founder of an award-winning hedge fund. He serves as chairman of a behavioural economics consultancy and as a trustee of a grant making charity in South West London.
Nick’s career was in the London bond markets, where he worked as a gilt broker, investment banker and investment manager, latterly in a consultant capacity. He has previously served on various charitable trusts and on committees making charitable grants. Currently he is a trustee of a grant making charity and on the board of a religious order.
Seonaid Mackenzie is the founder of Sturgeon Ventures LLP, a pioneering regulatory incubator and alternative investment fund manager. Seonaid, has had a long career in the City with positions including stockbroker, fund manager, and operator of UK funds; fund raising for private companies and funds; and multiple non-executive roles in financial service firms and SMEs.
Tom Jackson is the founder and Chief Executive of Resurgo Trust, an award-winning charity helping young unemployed people into work and supporting emerging social entrepreneurs. A former litigation lawyer and entrepreneur, he was co-founder of the Centre for Social Justice think tank in Westminster. Tom holds an MBA from Henley Business School and is a Church of England minister at Holy Trinity Brompton. Tom was awarded an MBE in 2018.
