We would like to extend our most heartfelt thanks to Heathrow Community Trust for their incredible support.
Their recent grant is helping us to reduce anxiety by supporting vulnerable older people in financial difficulty in Ealing, Hounslow and Richmond — three communities where the cost of living continues to hit older residents hardest. For many of the people we see, the mounting pressure of bills, debt, and isolation has become overwhelming. This grant means we can be there with the right help at the right time: offering compassionate, practical advice, signposting to vital benefits and support, and standing alongside people who have often fallen through the gaps.
For an older person facing impossible choices between heating and eating, this isn't just financial help — it's a lifeline. It restores a sense of control, eases the constant weight of worry, and reminds them they are not forgotten. We see it time and again: when the immediate financial crisis is eased, hope begins to return.
We are so deeply grateful for this grant. It will transform lives across Ealing, Hounslow and Richmond — helping to restore dignity, renew hope, and reassure some of the most vulnerable members of our community that support is here when they need it most.
